Extraordinary Ideas?
Okay, so all my ideas may not be extraordinary, but most of them at least fall into the idea category. I have also included my thoughts and comments about all things related to weddings and events. I'll even throw in a few things not at all related, just because I wanted to talk (or vent) about them. Have fun!
We thought we would share some of the fun DIY elements to our Winter Party table scape from NBC's Nonstop Nightly. There are lots of fun elements for this table that can be easily created at home. When creating the design for the table - we really wanted to use a pewter table linen with a silver charger - but we also needed the charger to show up. We found these cute snowflakes at Target (4 for $1.) and created a wreath to go under the chargers - this really made them pop!
Another great element are the "icey" candle holders. We bought the candles at Albertsons for $1.50, sprayed them with spray adhesive and then rolled them in glitter. They are gorgeous - especially when they are lit!
We also bought some inexpensive icicles and added a little strand of crystals to the end and created some really blingy cocktail stirrers. These are so much fun!
Lastly - we found these cute little nutcrackers and sprayed them silver. Then some silver leaf was applied and they made amazing place card holders - not to mention a fun little favor for the guests.
